But (and I know I shouldn't start a sentence with the word "but") as I start to listen to Anthony Robbins "Personal Power II" I am assured that keeping a journal is a very important part of learning. So, here goes ...

Best of luck! I'm shocking too. Whenever I have attempted to keep a cohesive journal (ie in one notebook rather than scrawled on whatever I have at hand when I feel the need to write something) it has felt forced and unnatural. I think it took away the spontaneity of my writing.
I think journals are really good for you. In order for you to write something down you have to cognitise the thoughts that have been running around in your brain which means that you have to give them order - which in turn gives you clarity.
Keep at it - it's worth it!
